The following position based in Beijing is open for application: Accounts Associate/Accounts Assistant (Payroll/Taxation) 1. Job Description: As part of Singapore Airlines’ Accounting and Finance Team and reporting to the Finance Manager China, the staff will be responsible for one or more of the following staff payroll and taxation roles: (A)  Staff Payroll and Provident Fund Management 1. Coordinate and consolidate staff payroll documents and prepare handover documentation to outsource vendors; 2. Verify monthly staff payroll calculations prepared by vendor; 3. Verify monthly staff provident fund calculation prepared by vendor; 4. Prepare staff payroll budget and support annual budget exercise; 5. Review staff payroll payment records; 6. Prepare staff payroll related reports required by Headquarters; 7. Monitor and review service level of outsource vendor; (B) Taxation Management 1. Prepare Corporate Income Tax filing; 2. Prepare VAT and associated tax filing; 3. Verify local staff IIT calculation and payment; 4. Verify posted staff IIT calculation and payment; 5. Prepare various tax related reports required by local authority or HDQ; 6. Seek Tax authority approval for cross-border remittance; 7. Coordinate annual tax return file filing for Beijing Office; 8. Coordinate annual external audit; 9. Coordinate tax issues for pan-China stations; 2. Requirements 1. Bachelor degree and above from a reputable university with a major in Accounting or Finance； 2. At least 2-5 years’ experience in payroll and pension calculation (五险一金). Experience in payroll outsourcing company would be an advantage; 3. At least 2-5 years’ experience of taxation (CIT, VAT, IIT), familiar with taxation authority’s requirement on tax filing; 4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; 5. Meticulous and proficient in numbers; 6. Team player and able to work independently; 7. Fast learner and able to work under pressure; 8. Proficiency in Office 365.
