Role Purpose

 

The Role of Sales Consultant provides assistance to Sales Manager in the implementation of sales targets, annual revenue budget and sales strategy for the designated areas defining the best way to increase sales. The role involves meeting the sales revenue targets and as well as coordination of initiatives to help build Malaysia Airlines a global

brand.  

 

  Responsibilities:

 

  • To ensure achievement of the revenue sales target in accordance with company commercial and marketing objective
  • To monitor market trends to retain commercial initiatives and remain on target to achieve the commercial objectives
  • To build and maintain goodwill and relationship with the Travel Agency leaders and attend industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of MH
  • To conduct agent sales calls and provide sales and marketing support to agents under your coverage to ensure sales target can be met and POS revenue can be achieved
  • To source for new channels and methods to improve sales

 

Requirements:

 

  • Industry working experience in Sales and Marketing area
  • Be able to work independently and speak fluent English
  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours
  • Able to handle difficult passengers
  • College diploma or above degree
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High computer literacy and excellent presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and high results-oriented
