1Reservation / Ticketing Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Reservation / Ticketing Officer

REPORTS TO: Reservation / Ticketing Supervisor

Location: Beijing

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to Reservation Ticketing Supervisor (RTS) or Manager Beijing (MB), the Reservation Ticketing Officer (RTO) assists in making and confirming reservations for passengers and carry out the ticketing functions. RTO shall serve customers (including intermediaries) professionally through telephone or in person to maximize customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in reservation/ticketing functions
  • Support and liaise with the airlines represented by the company on reservation and ticketing matters, including seat confirmation
  • Keep updated with the principal airlines on changes in reservation/ticketing policies
  • Provide support to the travel agents on reservation/ticketing matters
  • Handle customer requirements/case professionally
  • Where necessary for principal carriers, assist in managing mishandled passengers, NORECS and DNB
  • Where necessary for principal carriers, perform proper flight firming checks to maximize flight utilization and reduce number of no-show passengers
  • Led by RTS, work closely with MB and sales counterpart to achieve company sales objectives
  • Perform other related functions, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and the regional group.

CORE CAPABILITIES

Educational Qualifications:

  • At least a diploma or its equivalent
  • IATA / Airline Passenger Tariff and Pricing knowledge
  • Good knowledge on at least one GDS or airline reservation system

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience on airline reservation/ticketing
  • Proven ability to manage customers and travel agents
  • Customer service skills

Skills/Competencies:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese

2、Senior Reservation/Ticketing Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Senior Reservation/Ticketing Officer

REPORTS TO: Manager Northern China

Location: Beijing

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Manager Northern China, the Senior Reservation/Ticketing Officer (SRTO) is accountable for the full reservation/ticketing functions of the Beijing branch office for Hangda Ticket Agent (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a company whose primary business is supporting airlines as General Sales Agent. The SRTO leads the Reservation team to support the travel trade and customers on reservation/ticketing matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the full reservation/ticketing functions
  • Support and liaise with the airlines represented by the company on reservation and ticketing matters, including seat confirmation
  • Keep updated with the principal airlines on changes in reservation/ticketing policies and brief the staff regularly
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the reservation/ticketing team.
  • Supervise staff and ensure quality of works meet the requirements of the principal carriers.
  • Provide support to the travel agents on reservation/ticketing matters
  • Handle customer requirements/case professionally
  • Where necessary for principal carriers, assist in managing mishandled passengers, NORECS and DNB
  • Work closely with MSC and sales counterpart to achieve company sales objectives
  • Perform other related functions, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and the regional group.

3Sales Support Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Sales Support Executive Reports To: Sales Manager Beijing

Location: Beijing

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Support Executive (SSE) reports to the Sales Manager in the Beijing office of Holiday Tours & Travel, a regional company whose primary business is a General Sales Agents for airlines. The SSE supports the sales team on all sales and marketing matters to facilitate selling and thus, surpass allocated targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Sales Team in the planning and execution of sales activities mainly through indoor sales and marketing support. These include:
  • Collation of market intelligence on the competitive environment and distributing timely information to the Sales Team,
  • Collation of feedback from trade partners
  • Assist in setting up pricing and marketing strategies
  • Supporting Sales Team to maintain database of travel agencies, corporate clientele, partners and etc.
  • Support the sales team on reports and presentation packs
  • Communicate with the trade partners on the fares and products of the airlines represented.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

  • PC literate with good knowledge of Word/Excel/Powerpoint

Experience:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in the airline support role
  • Knowledge of airline operations
  • Knowledge of business analytical tools such as MIDT/TRAMS/SF/Route analysis is an added advantage

4Senior Sales Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Senior Sales Executive Reports To: Sales Manager Beijing

Location: Beijing

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to Sales Manager Beijing, the Senior Sales Executive will be responsible to generate revenues through various sales channels in the assigned Area (primarily Beijing and surrounding cities) and surpass given targets. Protect existing business and constantly exploit new opportunities. Create maximum awareness of the products and services of the represented airlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts of airlines represented.
  • Render support to trade partners to facilitate their sales on the airlines represented.
  • Maintain good relationship with existing trade partners and create new ones.
  • Constantly exploit any new sales opportunities and create awareness of the products/services of the represented airlines.
  • Provide regular market intelligence to senior management and recommend sales strategies to airline clients.
  • Service the needs of key customers, travel agents and corporate accounts. Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports and update the trade and corporate houses about the airlines products and services.
  • Make constant sales calls to the travel partners and corporate customers.
  • Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Represent airline clients at events.
  • Guide junior sales staff.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Experience:
